Please note: 

Excessive rubbing due to wearing our hide hair bags up against your clothing may result in the exposed hide hair coming away from leather.

Avoid rough surfaces that scratch or graze the surface of your bag.

All coloured hide bags have been treated but care is needed if these bags get wet.  If water damage occurs, absorb as much water as possible with a thick microfibre hand towel and allow the bag to dry naturally, do not dry with a hairdryer as excessive heat will fade, stiffen and possibly crack the leather.

 

Storage

  • Store your bag in its original Over the moon dust bag and fill it with stuffing—use white wrapping paper, never newspaper, which will smear, to maintain its shape.
  • Keep in the dust bag along with several packets of silica gel so your leather / suede purchase does not get damp. Keep in a place that has air circulation to prevent the growth of mould.
  • Every 3 to 6 months; clean/condition as recommended above for your leather or suede item, air dry before re storing.
  • This will keep your leather item in good condition for years into decades to be cherished and even handed down.
